QUESTION:  I registered, but my children are still receiving unwanted messages. What can I do?
ANSWER:  The Protect MI Child Registry provides a tool for prosecutors to hold accountable those senders who target children with inappropriate messages. The law will not block all messages from unknown senders. Even if you register your children's addresses, it is still critical for you to monitor your children's electronic communications. If the message is related to products or services that are prohibited for children, you may file a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General if it has been more than 30 days since you registered.
